The Frankfurt Music Messe with sixty-years history, but it was forced to interrupt in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, since the 2010s, as the number of German-made pianos, violins, and other musical instruments has gradually decreased, simultaneously, the quality and quantity of Chinese musical instruments have been continuously improving. The Shanghai Music Fair has become increasingly important, gradually replacing the Frankfurt Music Messe global status.
