Veerkamp is a group of companies that emerged within the Veerkamp family over 100 years ago to disseminate and promote music.
The history begins in 1908 when Federico Veerkamp, founder of the company, arrives in Mexico seeking market options for harmonicas (or mouth organs) of the Hohner brand, a task that he attended from a small office in the streets of República del Salvador, in the historic center of Mexico City.
In 1922, after the difficult years of the Revolution and the First World War, Alfredo Veerkamp, his brother, with whom he partners, arrived. Together, they managed to expand the business already located at 21 Mesones St. under the name of F.A. Veerkamp.
